Windows 98 and Critical Memory Scan?
Right I just went to a car boot sale and picked up a cheap computer (£ 10)! It had everything. But it came with Windows 98th Now I have a Windows XP CD ready. But I think I need at least 64MB RAM. Cheap My computer only has 32MB of RAM. Well, because it is an old computer, it has a really old BIOS. So I thought to do a critical memory scan. So I put my, Wireless Internet in Windows 98 and could not even install the drivers it could not install. I have only one modem slot on the back of my computer. I really need to get ram for this computer. So I could tell someone how I can be a critical memory scan get on my computer without an Internet connection. I can use my laptop to access the Internet, but not on my computer. If one knows what another program scans and told me all compatible RAM with my bios please tell me. Thanks I am looking for RAM. Hello First, the right computer faster than a 300MHz prossecor if you do not have, you will stick with 98 because it is worse than waste memory you need at least 64MB if you look at your motherboard and specify the brand and model number, followed by assistance should you send will say to a page that you know what memory you need and then buy some of ebay worth a few quid on it put xp but until then I would leave as 1998 hope this helps
